Is this glue? I freaked out when I first saw it as I was opening the envelope. Ugh. I'm so disgusted.

Not really. When I peeled the envelope corner, the entire thing just peeled right back, all in tact. That's why I was hoping that it was just the last of the adhesive that wasn't ruly tacky?

No, but it looks like this can occur in other places, too. 🙁 Hopefully, I don't get sick or die from it. Normally, I toss those Citi letters. I don't know why I opened this one.

LOL. My first thought was that it was bird droppings, but that didn't make sense bc it was inside of the envelope and under the flap. Unfortuntately, I'm sure that it's mold. When someone mentioned the south, I tried to figure out if this could have possibly been mailed through one of the states with the flooding. Who knows what happened. The envelope didn't appear wet at all, which is weird, and it was in my Informed Delivery that same day IIRC.
