- AmEx Gold: 4% in restaurants and grocery stores, a no brainer for me.
- Uber Visa: 4% in restaurants, just in case they don't take AmEx. Also for all hotels(3%).
- Cap1 QS: 1.5% everything else. I'll keep it in my wallet until I get a 2% card (probably pc my Citi AA to DC after 2 yrs).
- Target REDcard debit: 5% in Target.
I go to Whole Foods a lot so I got a Chase Amazon card, but since Whole Foods accept Apple Pay, I have this card in my iPhone and don't have to carry the plastic(metal) card.
in my passport case, I carry Schwab Debit and Schwab AmEx Plat, for international travels. The Schwab Debit has no fees on cash withdraw around the world, so I get cash at local ATM for local currency, in case some stores don't take credit card. And Schwab AmEx Platinum card is eligible for use to entering Centurion Lounges.

I keep hearing good things about this card.
Amex Gold (this is my DD), Amex BCP (I just like having it on me) and Chase Freedom (5% back on Gas right now, but soon will be trading it for the FU).

Its a no AF card with a very board 3x (4.5x) category reward. Good for those who doesn't want to pay for CSR, Prestige and Amex charge cards.
I think this will be my setup for this year. All in on MR points since I can transfer out to airlines @ 1.8 -2.5 CPP easy from my experience or if I use the charles schwabb Platinum to cash out at a minimum value of 1.2 CPP
1. Amex Gold 4x MRP Restaurant and Groceries = 7.2 to 10% return per dollar to Airlines or 4.8% cash back value
2. Amex Business gold for 4x MRP Gas = 7.2 to 10% return per dollar to Airlines or 4.8% cash back value
3. Amex BBP 2X MRP All other spend= 3.6 to 5% return per dollar to Airlines or 2.4% cash back value
4. PayPal Business debit 1% CB funded by Paypal 2% Cashback for total 3% cash back where amex not accepted.
2019 edition

You might look into BBP.
Forget 2%. You'd be earning 2.5%+ on up to $50k spend per year.
That is, 2x MRs with a minimum "Schwab cash" value of 1.25 cpp.
I have a DC, but only use it when I need a Citi perk.
