I put this in Smorgasboard because it really does not fit elsewhere. I had a TD credit card that I never used due to only 1% rewards. It was dormant for over 2 years, and I never used it after satisfying the SUB to get 150 or 200 bucks. I finally just closed it before they did. I mean I literally only charged 500 bucks or so on it in the 3 years I had it. That was 6 months ago. Now today in the mail, I have a pre-approved offer to get the same TD credit card again, with another 150 dollar SUB for 500 dollars spend. Have they lost their minds? Maybe I have lost mine, because I am actually considering it, but surely the guilt would get to me. I have never been that shocked about an offer.

I got an offer for their Double Up card yesterday; I circular filed it as I'm gardening until mortgage time next spring. This is the first top-tier card offer I've gotten since my discharge in March 2020 and were it not for the gardening thing, I would certainly have applied.

I just always had a card that paid as much or more in rewards on every single purchase. There are several more cards that share that distinction.
