This from the guy of the Butt Bustah Chili.  We should be surprised, maybe?

Here in the mid-Atlantic states, it's too danged hot to think about Chili.  In a month maybe.

I'm in San Antonio.  We invented heat here.  Actually people in southern India eat very hot food since it makes them sweat which cools the body down or so they say.

Smiley Very Happy  No thanks - we have all we need right now.  You've not heard of our monsoon - humidity, rain, dust- and rain-storms every year from about late June through September?  BElieve me, we have humidity - and HAVE had, the last few months!! Ugh....105-110 F every day and humid.  Not fun.  Can you really beat that? Smiley Tongue

Try Mombassa when the Monsoon is about to hit Smiley Very Happy

I just made a batch of salsa using those  extra hot Hatch Chilies, and I nust say I out did myself.  Lots of flavor and the heat just sneaks up on you.  I think I have mastered the use of them.

Most of the hot peppers I have been using have come from my backyard.  Funny thing I havent seen any cats or dogs trying to use the backyard as an extened litterbox/toilet for quite some time.

My quess is that perhaps the cat that had been comming by eata one of the birds that had been feeding on peppers when they turned red.  Vengance from the grave so to speak.
