Re: iPhone 11

For the first time, I'm seeing people not wanting to upgrade their iPhones. I think apple has found the borderline price point that many aren't willing to accept.

Re: iPhone 11

@BES, I agree, at least for what it’s offering. Compared to my XS Max, I don’t see any justification to upgrade. A better camera (XS takes fantastic pics already), and a few other functional things, but still no 5G compatibility, isn’t enough to go drop what they’re asking for it.

I love iPhones, I’ve had them since the 3G was released, but they ARE behind the times compared to Samsung. I just don’t like Samsung OS, not even on my kindle. To me, iOS is just smoother and better integrated and feels more polished. I won’t say they need to, because sales obviously prove otherwise, but I’d love it if they’d stop holding back on features and keep up with what is offered elsewhere. With the prices these phones are reaching, I can say definitively that I’ll be replacing mine less often going forward. It was each generation years ago, then became every other generation. I may stretch that and bypass two iterations of them before upgrading again. I do know that I will wait until 5G is included before I get a new one...but if a future “super 11” comes out with it, I will still wait. With rumors that possibly even the 12 won’t have it, it’s a good thing I like my current phone because I may have it a long time.

Re: iPhone 11

My X had an accident like 6 months ago so I replaced it with an XS Max. There's absolutely 0 reason for me to upgrade to the 11 at this point. The major selling point being the camera, and honestly...... all I use my camera for is taking pictures at work of parts or drawings when I forget to bring a pen into the shop.

If the rumors of the major overhaul for 2020 are true, that's when I'll be upgrading next.

Re: iPhone 11

To be honest with you I normally don’t replace my phones often at all. But I changed my Samsung Note for my iPhone X. While the X is operating for the most part I do get glitches from time to time. At the end of the day I really don’t splurge on myself year round so I did it. Now the real question is will I have buyers remorse lol.

I usually update pretty often honestly. I went from the Pixel, to the Pixel 2 XL, to the iPhone X, to the XS Max. There has to be SOMETHING for me to upgrade though. I don't do it, "just because". This year just wasn't that year, both with the phone and my watch. It's really just the camera with the phone, and the watch is really just the always on display. Not enough changes. I'll hold off the the Apple Watch 6 and the iPhone 2020 whatever its called.

Re: iPhone 11

I’ll be getting the 5Watch for the wife this holiday season. She has the first or second gen iWatch now, so the 5 will be worth upgrading for sure. The phone though, no.

Re: iPhone 11

I got mine this morning. I didn’t pre-ordered. I just went to the Apple store, and made my decision in person. I got the Pro Max for me and the same for the DH. He had an iPhone 6s Plus

It’s a big upgrade for me since my current phone was an iPhone 6s.
