Just a post to see how many is too many for us?
Currently, I have 36 cards. Plus DW has 20. Overall 56!
How many more can I go?
You need an even 100
I have 12. Can handle that amount but will def be replacing some. Getting rid of my Quicksilver, Americard, Victoria Secret and Lowes and replacing them with Citi Custom Cash, BOA Cash Rewards,US Bank Cash+ and a Chase card when I can. Target is walking a very thin line with me 🙄. I'll def get rid of them and downgrade to getting 3% back with Bank of America than dealing with their card that won't grow.

How do you keep track of all those cards? I have trouble keeping track of the ones I have!
Do you have a favorite top 10 cards? Or do you use them all regularly, .i.e., no sock drawer cards.
I would get 3 more just to round it up to an even 40 cards LOL
The move notice on your thread is truncated to "current standing at 3...". Which for a second made me think we have the same number of cards.
Plus 1 AU card.
Others on My FICO report dozens more than 56!
You're probably in the "average range" here! 😜
*See this link: " ... I have 91 open credit cards right now ..."
There are others who prefer simplicity and quality over quantity. Unless you're doing it for the fun and hobby of it all, everyone reaches a point where managing many cards becomes too much of a chore, whether it's five cards, fifty cards, or 500 cards! If you're having fun and it's not yet a chore, thousands are possible!

You have more than enough. One for each day of the month is sufficient. Time to shed 5. Obviously DW has a ways to go.
I'm a fan of a thick credit file but only so many cards can help you.
