Confused multiple Student Loan tradelines.

My original lender was ACS then it got sold to ACS/BRAZUS and now its with AES/BRAZUS and I am currently enrolled in an IBR program.  SO are all the tradelines suppose to show up?

Re: Confused multiple Student Loan tradelines.

Student loans are often sold or transferred to different servicers.  When this happens, your old tradeline should be paid off and show a closed/paid/transferred in the comments and a new one should appear.  It sounds like you could have two, or even three (it's not clear if there is just a name change or an actual change of servicer) tradelines for your loan.

Make sure that your IBR enrollment has transferred properly and that you have updated contact information with your current servicer at all times.  Checking now might save you some surprises later.

Okay it does say transferred. It just looks so bad.

Re: Confused multiple Student Loan tradelines.

It's really nothing to worry about, it's very normal for people with student loans to have loans that have been sold/transferred.  It won't impact you negatively as long as everything is reporting correctly ($0 balance, correct notation on the account).
