Please be aware that if you made any payments towards an IDR plan such as IBR, or are trying for PSLF it will completely reset your count/ years.

Thanks but I plan to stay on the standard plan and pay it off ASAP. I don't want to waste money on interest charges.

Ok. Now I see you meant you weren't going to be on an IDR plan. If that's all your monthly repayment is, you probably won't have anything to forgive anyway.
