One quibble - it's Maximus, not Maximum that Navient is transferring to (really spinning off, but that's neither here nor there).

I feel bad for MF - it was terrible timing for this article (and it reads a bit like it's been waiting in the queue)- the feds just extended the pause, and FedLoan just extended their contract, which proves how fluid the situation is.

The meat of the article is good, though - especially the advice to check studentaid.gov and downloading any statements from the old servicer.
