I have been reading through these forums for about a year now but dont post as much on here like maybe I should more often since you people are very helpful. I have been trying to get financed for my college with a $8,000 private loan but I have very little luck with Sallie Mae, Wells Fargo etc. but I have herd very much good things about Pen Fed when it comes to Credit cards but very little in their student loan department! The only thing I have going against me is just my lack of credit history when it comes to the bigger loans. I have not been late on a payment since 2003 and always pay everything on time. I also lack a worthy co-signer so Im basically on my own when it comes to my loans. Any advice of what I should do or what i am doing wrong would be very helpful...
