Re: Rehab #1 & #2 completed - timeline/DPs NMSL/180Resolutions & ECMC (Navient)

Update:

I was finally able to create a login for Navient today, so it looks like my loans have transferred over officially from ECMC.

Last payment made to ECMC was 12/17 with 12/22 due date, so exactly one month from due date to transfer completion.

Nothing has updated on my credit reports yet, as I stated in a previous post, ECMC said they only uodate the bureaus the first Saturday of the month. So I will update early Feb when ECMC finally comes off of EQ and EX (already EE'd from TU).

ECMC is still listed on NSLD, so they haven't updated that yet, either.

There has also been zero updates for my SO, who completed both of his rehabs in Decmeber along side mine. Not for 180Resolutions/NMSLGC/NMSL/NMEAF nor FH Cann/US Dept of ED/FedLoan. I have been checking NSLD and credit reports near daily and nothing has changed. I will probably have him call FH Cann and NMSL soon to see where things are.

Now, Navient shows administrative forebearance ends 1/22 with first payment due 2/22. Is this just a coincidence or does this run alongside with what is going on with FedLoan? Will these potentially be deferred until Sept?

Re: Rehab #1 & #2 completed - timeline/DPs NMSL/180Resolutions & ECMC (Navient)

Update:

Got a MyFico notification that my score went up +20pts, but just did my 3B pull for the month, so I went to ACR and pulled EQ to see if something changed....it did.

The NMSLs that were rehabbed were placed back onto my CR. Not entirely thrilled about this. They were removed off EQ only when they defaulted, so when then CAs (NMSLGC) were removed, there was no trace of them, and I had hoped only the "new" back dated account would be placed back on sometime after repayment started. Not the case. This makes me quite sad since NMSL loans are considered CFAs. Now I will have double the number of CFAs for no good reason. It boosted my F8 +20 pts, which I should be happy about, but I am going to guess it plummeted my EQ 5s (mortgage score). Bummer.

The one thing I can be semi-happy about is they did not add them on with the lates, like are reporting to EX and TU (since those accounts were never removed). They just look like positive and closed TLs. There are 6 OCs, like EX, where there were only 5 CAs on all 3Bs. TU only reports 5 OCs, so not sure where number 6 TL is coming from. There are only 5 listed on the NSLD.

I would like to cautiously say congrats on the score boost...  with all of the downsides you are discussing, I am just not sure if you see this as one of your desired progressive win.

Best of luck!

I did an EQ pull thru MyFico and the CFA does not pop up for these newly report old loans! Something must have changed in their reporting - thank goodness! Scores all bumped up a hair - whew!

Update:

1/25/2021

NSLD updated! ECMC is no longer listed and now Navient is!

At the top it shows I am down to 4 SLs in default. I t had been a long ride from 11 defaulted down to 4! It will be staying like that for the time being.

Now to see when ECMC gets around to updating EX and EQ!

Re: Rehab #1 & #2 completed - timeline/DPs NMSL/180Resolutions & ECMC (Navient)

Update:

1/29/2021

I filed disputes with EX and EQ a couple days ago since it has been so long since I finished rehab to get the CAs removed.

EX came back today with results and deleted the 2 x ECMC CAs. This brought my F8 up +2pts lol 587 > 589

My progress is so not what I expected and is disheartening still. I am counting down until FedLoan/US Dept of ED is removed, but I am keeping my expectations in check since NMSL left their TLs with the lates on my CRs amd now no longer have age off dates.

For SO:

I had been hounding him to reach out to 180 Resolutions and FH Cann to see what was going on with his rehabs. He finally became motivated enough when both reached out to him via phone *and* 180Resolutions even mailed his father (a reference)! I thought that was a bit extreme.

He had finished both rehabs within a week or two of mine and there has been zero progress in transferring the loans or removing the defaults/CAs. I guess both CAs needed to speak to him one more time before finalizing the rehabs? Seems a bit odd, but I hope that meams we start seeing some of these defaults drop off in the next month or so!

Re: Rehab #1 & #2 completed - timeline/DPs NMSL/180Resolutions & ECMC (Navient)

Update:

Navient started reporting 2 TLs today (backdated to 2007) on EX! Gained +18pts!

589 > 607

A little surprused considering they are reporting them as 200%-250% util lol, but maybe my score went up a little bit due to age and a little bit due to active/open installment loan.

Re: Rehab #1 & #2 completed - timeline/DPs NMSL/180Resolutions & ECMC (Navient)

Update:

For SO:

Only the defaulted SLs came off of TU and EX yesterday and EQ today (only the defaulted ones were reporting to EQ, not the original SLs).

TU: +32pt F8 score gain!

638 > 670

EX: +7pt F8 score gain!

651 > 658

EQ: +12pt F8 score gain!

635 > 647

scores are on the rise! Now to see what happens when the "new" backdated SLs start reporting!

No changes on NSLD for SO and still no word on the transfer if the SLs from FH Cann.

For SO:

EQ (via EX 3B pull) is showing +24 pts and the last of the defaulted SLs removed (zero SLs - OC or CA on EQ report).

For me:

MyFico alert today that the Navient SLs were added to TU and saw:

+11 pt TU F8

598 > 609

All of my F8s are now over 600! Woohoo!
