I was hoping it would fall off from the date of the loan lol. But then I figured it out it's from the last missed payment :/ annnoooyyyingggg lol

I think the payment status field is all that matters.

Congrats!

I am glad the CAs came off!

Now for the "new" backdated SLs to report from the new servicer! Hopefully that gives you another nice score increase from a possible boost in age of accounts and installment activity if you have no other.

If you have other installment loans, nothing may change there, your installment util % will avtually go uo, so you will need to do that math if that will actually nit work in your favir for your scores.

Now if these are very old SLs and and older than most/all of your other accounts (opened or closed) then it may help your AAoA. If not and it lowers it, that may also not help your scores. You will need to do the math there, too.

You could gain points, lose points, or nothing may happen at all to your scores.

The old SL that were deleted was one of my older accounts from 2014. I have 6 total installments loans. 4 are paid/closed and 2 currently open with with a current status for $17K (car and Motorcyle loan). The SL is 5K that Fedloan now has and my DTI is 20%. According to the Experian score simulator my score would not chane bu adding a 5K student loan

Well you still may gain a few points for increase in age of accounts or lose a few points for an increase in installment util % (not sure if your aggregate installment balances are under 60%). They may cancel each other out. If your current loans are not already under 60% aggregate util, then perhaps you will gain the points for increase of age of accounts.

I guess we will just have to wait and find out!

Fingers crossed for you! Please keep us posted and good luck!

My SO's FedLoans have still had zero movement on his credit reports (the CAs were EE'd/aged off months ago), so it is just a waiting game to see when those report as well as the SLs from NMSL, which have also had no movement on the CAs or the "new" backdated SLs - we are making regular monthly payment number 2 this week. Kind of mind-boggling that they have not reported yet...m
