I'm glad you held out. Congrats on the scores and more!
Thanks. And I meant to write "secured" card offers. I went back to my original post and changed it. I am very excited about the Discover card. I've already begun using it.
September has been rough. I finally got to truly understanding that this is definitely not a race and 100% a journey. I recently had some fraudulent activity on my CapitalOne account that pushed my balance over the limit. I called CapOne and was able to get it worked out but naturally this happened the day before my statement cut. I feel as though it's some kind of karma or the universe messing with me some how. My scores have plummeted. I'm now sub 600 again all around. Equiax is particularly stubborn so I went from 606 to 587. Transunion and Experian have been slowly creeping back up (they're at 596 and 592 respectively) so I hope to be above 600 for them by the end of the month. I was just preapproved by Chase now I feel as though there's absolutely no chance in hell. Anyway, I'm slowly but surely doing all I can to raise my scores. We'll see what happens come October.

Why, the ball and chain is wrapped around his neck already
Hello again, I know I posted in this month already. But I wanted to share some news that has me all giddy and happy. In my original thread, I was going to pay off 3 of my smallest credit cards. Instead, I was able to pay off 1 small credit card around $300 and 2 loans totaling $4300 and paid down another credit card bringing the utilization to 25% today. I only have 1 more card to pay off around $400 and one more loan for $1100 and I am done besides the school loans I worked out a deal for those to stop reporting soon. So happy, feel so free, stress falling away! Can't wait to see the credit reports update this information!
Happy rebuilding everyone!

It would totally kill the vibe....
F8's are coming in between 790 and 796. My useless (but I still look at it) Vantage score is sitting at 799.
Maybe my F9 will give a glimpse as to what it's like to be over 800 - it was 796 last month.
Once I hit the 800's, I'm putting on my match.com profile - hey baby, how you doin' I got a nice 800 right here....
