Hello all!

I am back after a couple of years of progress and then 2019 has NOT been kind. I am back on my grind and need to figure out after paying 90% of the debt, how to get some of these late payments off and to rebuild back to my goals.

Starting Score: EX:603
Current Score: EX:603 (10/16/19)
Goal Score: EX:740

Ok. the past 3.5 years have been rough. Loss of business, divorce etc... Credit took a huge hit. Been working on it for about a year with no clear direction. Glad to be here and get this ship straight!!

WOW! You sure have taken your share of hits! Your interest in "get this ship straight" is spot on for this Forum. Someone in this forum likely has answers for what ever needs should arise as you work your way back to a credit life. Many of us even came from the cellar with the big BK so your not alone (although it feels like it sometimes). There is a light at the end of the tunnel. Welcome Smiley Happy

Re: Take the myFICO Fitness Challenge 2019

That's how I got my first one. I got it a couple of months ago and because citizens bank 150$ from few years ago started sending letters. Since nothing was on credit report I wanted to see about chexsystem and it was there. I called and they only wanted $25, and was glad nothing ever reported to credit... But yes I believe you can once a year. I know I didn't pay, and if I did it must have been less than 5$ if I don't remember lol.

Re: Take the myFICO Fitness Challenge 2019

Good morning!

Taking the myFICO fitness challenge again! I will be gardening until Nov 2020. I want to raise my scores up into the 700+ range. I am focusing on paying down my utilization percentages. I was at 91% last month and have paid down to 58%. Just recently had my first son born. So battling no sleep, long work hours, and trying my hardest to help my wife whenever possible. With all of this going on I want to improve my financial wellness for my family’s future.
