Hi I am new to the forum but I have been lurking for a long time. I screwed up my credit back in 2016 and I am trying to rebuild it now. 10/2022 I have some collections that will fall off and I am hoping that my credit will get better.
I woke up this morning to a TU FICO9 of 721. It's hard for me to grasp but I'm beyond happy and proud
Kudos!! Congratulations on your stellar score!!
Hi Everyone! This is my first challenge! Joining a little late but super excited.
My goals for this year are to get my credit score to a respectable score and buy a new car.
Im late joining the fitness challenge, but I'm ready to begin. Its been 3 years since I've participated in this forum, and I've done well with my approvals and credit card limits. What I have noticed is I have not consistently maintained a credit score of over 700. I originally began several years ago with little to no credit. I'm proud to say that I have aquired several cards with limits that I am very proud of.
I have quite a few inquiries that I am looking forward to have age off of my score this year.
My goal is to increase my credit score to 750, remove the inquiries on my account. Current scores:
Exp 693, Equifax 690, T/U 693

I started out just trying to improve my score so that I could get approved for an auto loan, but working on that score has become a hobby.
I keep thinking I need to save up a down payment. Then I think that if I take that money and pay my balances down a little further it will improve my score more.
Good luck.
This is my first time entering the challenge. My starting scores were at the beginning of 2020. My scores had been in the low 600s for years due to a few collection items and high utilization.
In late 2020 I paid off all credit cards and now maintaining my utilization below 3%
The 3 collection items were paid off recently and one agreed to PFD. Will try GW letter to delete the other two
I have 100% on time payments since 2017 but my scores were lower due to high utilization and collections.
Goals for 2021
1) Get rid of rebuilding cards with AF. My CL is 17k spread over several cards. Would like to replace several rebuilder cards with no AF cashback cards.
2) Eliminate collection items with PFD or GW letter.
3) All three Fico8 scores above 720
4) Keep Cards at AZEO.
5) Continue to follow the forums and learn all I can. Working now to teach my daughter good credit management also.
6) Qualify for low interest home loan. We are considering building a new home in the next year.
Hi everyone - newbie here
My short backstory, I racked up debt helping others and got sued in the process. Utilization is like 104% right now and my debt to income is upside down.
My goal is to purchase a home by 2022. The main goals to get there will be: bring my past due items current, continue with on time payments, reduce utilization and remove old collections.
I'm confused on how to do get the fitness challenge set up, I click on the link and it just takes me back to this page
Not sure if I joined right but my goal is to raise my Fico 5,4,2 up enough within the next 24 months to buy a home
