I'm in! Just saw this post today. Early in starting my rebuild (started 2 months ago), but happy with positive changes so far! So far I've started a Self lender credit builder loan and opened an account with cred.ai in the last 2 months. Have good car payment history for 4 years (minus 1 single payment that was paid 32 days late, so I'm sending a goodwill letter). Next up is clean up- goodwill letter/verification letters/report clean up/pay 4 remove. I actually only show a few very small negatives that aren't medical. Medical is my largest issue, so I'm trying to find the best ways to tackle those.
Goals: 700 score, CCs with bonuses
Future goals: buy new car, buy a home, launch my business
FIRST TIME myFICO Fitness Challenge! Excited and a bit daunted to be here. Thanks to all who have gone before to provide us with the wealth of experience we would otherwise not have. THANK YOU!
Hi everyone,
This is my first time joining MyFICO. Unfortunately I lost my job back in 2018 while pregnant and my credit took a hit after successfully rebuilding after bankruptcy to a 660. My lowest point was a 490. Ouch! Over the last year I have increased about 100+ points depending on the scoring model. My goals this year are to lay down my debts, continue to make on time payments, and continue to rebuild my credit history.
Hi @Anonymous and to the forum!

Did you try this?
In 2018 I made a decision to hyperfocus on improving my credit. My ex-wife was very high maintenance and extremely poor with money, so after 24 years of her my scores were in the high 500s, my utilization was in the 70% range, and there was just no end in sight.
I found myFICO years ago but just didn't have the time to dedicate to my credit.
Now I have a fiancee that takes some of the financial burden off of me. I refinanced my house, paid off high balances on credit cards, did some home improvements, and started paying down balances. My scores were bad.
In 2020, I focused on paying down balances and getting baddies off of my CR's. My scores slowly crept up during the year into the high 600's.
In 2021, I am continuing the plan and was approved for several new cards and had CLIs on other cards:
