I have 3 different ways I check my credit score. 1. Credit Karma, 2. Wal-Mart credit card which offers free FICO score, 3. Capital One credit card which offers free Transunion credit score. Problem is that all 3 of these show way different scores! Here is what they show:
Credit Karma - Transunion score of 699
Wal-Mart - FICO score of 653
Captial One - Transunion score of 678
Which one should I believe???
You should believe the Wal-Mart. It's a Fico 08 score. The other two are Fakos.

To provide a bit more info - there are many different scoring models on the market today, in addition to the ones you mention, there are 5,487 others as well (well, perhaps not that many but you get the idea). All of those use different scoring models with different algorithms that will most likely all come up with a different final score - and that's on top of the fact that there are 3 main credit agencies, each with their own data on you, that will also cause your scores to vary. The most widely used scoring model is FICO - and even that has 49 different flavors. You can use Cap One and CK as a guide to see what neighborhood your score is in but for the real deal FICO is the only way to go as it is what the overwhelming majority or lenders and credit cards companies use (90% is the commonly cited figure).
I need to know what F A K O stands for.
We know what F I C O stands for, what about FAKO?
