It's prudent to contact CRAs and have terminated AU accounts removed entirely from credit reports.
I have no personal data on terminated AU accounts that remain on reports. Such accounts should be ignored and not factor into any credit scoring metrics. However, if something is screwed up I can see how the account could possibly be treated as a closed account. That would be problematic. So, best to get terminated AU account(s) off your reports entirely.

Okay. That confirms my assumptions based on the current data. I went ahead and disputed it on TU earlier today, they had it removed within the hour. I'm going to watch to see what, if any, gains/losses might occur in the scoring there before following through on EX, as well. Since TU is the least likely to be pulled in my upcoming apps, this was the safest bet for testing the theory.
