Okay is my aaoa is 5.6 yrs and oldest is 14.7 years ( no longer open). Okay if I close a capital1 600cl with 3 years will it really affect my aaoa? My ob will become c1 I don't want to have 3 c1. Especially with moving into more prime cards.. And I'm still at a lost as my exp score 50 pts lower for no explainable reason is that it weigh late payments worse than the other two or is boa used a cc enhanced score. Still confusing because equifax actually has an old judgement. So confusing.

Even if you close the 1 Cap 1 acct, it will remain on your report & the acct will still be factored into your aaoa for at least 10 years. The one thing that will no longer be factored in, is the $600 will no longer be factored into your overall available credit. That # will drop by $600 when you close the card.
My orchard bank will become c1 which means ill have 3 capital one accounts which is too many. So aaoa is all accounts or just the open ones. Due to adding oh about 4 new accounts my aaoa is dropping significantly. But not too worried in another year it should be up again. Are installment auto loans in aaoa accounts?
