Check your spam folder for the Alliant welcome email -- some people here had it go to spam.

Re: Adding an installment loan -- the Share Secure technique

Got a response from Alliant today by email. They want me to to make copies of my driver's license/state ID, SS card, and provide at least one other document with my name and address. The problem, I don't have any of the documents with my name or address that they listed. I could send either a utility bill, mortgage statement/lease agreement, vechicle title/insurance/policy/registration, property tax/insurance bill, or voters registration card. Don't have any of those listed :/ Don't know what to do.

Your driver's license or state ID don't have your current address?

That's a red flag there for a lot of banks, not just Alliant.

My state ID and SS are not the issue. It's the third and final document I don't have from the list that they provided. Don't have anything under my name like that :/

For those who used this SSL, how much did your credit score increase?

and are student loans considered installment loans or is that only for car payments?

Lots of data points in this long thread telling you how many points people got.

Student loans are installment loans so if you have student loans reporting this technique won't help you.
