All IIB's gone off EQ now...disappointing score.

So, several months ago EX and TU deleted my last IIB's from the reports, and I got a nice score increase at the time. EQ of course wouldnt delete my May negs early until today. Pulled score, and it actually went down. I couldnt figure out how I could gain points last month from a few IIB's coming off EQ with EE,  and got a jump to 689. Now, Last 3 fell off, and score dips 7 points to 682.

As I pulled older EQ reports, and compared them to today,  looks like the reason for my score dip instead of gain is as follows....

1).  2- closed/good standing accounts from 2000-2003 are gone off my report now.  I knew it was coming Smiley Sad

2).  AAOA dropped to 3yr 4 mo, and currently all accounts are between 2013-2019 now, except for my SL....2005. AHOA is 13 yrs

3).  New accounts/INQ

On the brighter side of things....All 3 reports EQ, TU, EX have NO negative accounts showing, all positives, and only the BK in PR now which I have 4 more years left till its gone.  So, all reports look way cleaner.

I've got several INQ aging to 1-yr, falling off, and new accts aging to the 2-yr mark, all this year, so hopng to gain some more points back.

Penfed pulled my EQ09 score on 3/12/19 and had me at 722, but with the new changes on my report now, my EQ09 score dropped to 706

Well, rats. I guess the good news is, it’s all up from here, right? And congrats on all the negs being gone!

I can commiserate on the oldies-but-goodies dropping off. I have that coming in 2020 and I’m not looking forward to it. 😭

Long term getting any negative off is always a good thing! Short term, doh!

Questions: what was your before AAOA and secondly were there lates or a charge off on your report for those IIB accounts?

Hey @Revelate , I think my AAOA was around 5+ years before the closed/good standing accounts went away. There was no other info on my IIB's except the notion of IIB. EQ had already removed all history on the accounts.

So now, all my accounts showing on my reports are post BK rebuild, starting in 08/2013 and up. Im glad I started rebuilding day of DC when I did Smiley Happy

Hmm wonder if you were above 5 or 5.5; I break 5 on EX next month: I had always thought a breakpoint might be there and 7 points sounds about right for an AAOA gain.

Will be interesting to see.

Thanks for sharing your info, and congrats on your progress getting accounts back.

Did these long aged accounts fall off on their own, or this was an early request you had? If it was your request, knowing what you do now, would you ask them to be deleted again?

Based on some data I've seen - once your youngest account hits 2 years, you should see increase (could be minor, could be more). Also, there's a slight increase (for some, not all, depends on profiles it looks like) on every 12th month (every year or 6 months, again data is all over the place).

No doubt there is a benefit to aging AoYA.

I suspect a prerequisite to allow that aging is to not apply for new accounts? Smiley Wink

@NRB525 , I had 3 IIB's that I got EE from, and 2 older good standing/closed accounts that just fell off.  They should have been gone several months ago, so Ive been expecting them to fall off.

The IIB's, mostly certainly Id ask for EE again, Id rather have a cleaner report with lower score, then several negative accts showing and a higher score Smiley Happy
