All Zero report: Experian only

This is a report of the difference between 2 of 4 at $1,423 (4%) and All Zero.

  • This is a temporary change as I switch which 2 cards report a balance.
  • I had a total balance of $1,423 on 2 of 4 cards last month: $189 Mastercard and $1,234 Visa (Both at 9% individual).
  • Those 2 cards are now at $0. The other 2 haven't closed yet, so they still show $0.
  • Discover and AMEX should report in a few days at 4.00% each. The All Zero score drop will reverse, and I'll gain +3 month-over-month on EX 8 (742 to 745) due to crossing a 5% individual util threshold at EX on every card on my young file scorecard. (Doesn't happen with older profiles.)
  • Aggregate change from $1,423 to $0 (4% to 0%). Individual was 9%/9% on 2 cards, now at $0.

@Anonymous Very interesting as always Cassie. And so now they’re going to go up 1>2 and will get those data points as well on the way back up? very interested in comparing 01234.

Discover and AMEX both close today (the 6th).

I've been seeing a delay in AMEX's reporting lately, so there might be some time to get a clean daily report from EX at 1of4 before 2of4 reporting.

The plan now is to have the same 2 cards with the same balances (4% each, $160 and $520) reporting in December for the big AoOA 3yr / AoORA 2yr test.

Then in January I want to see what happens on mortgage scores when switching from $680 to $499 aggregate. I really think there is a $500 threshold there.

Re: All Zero report: Experian only

You could consider moving the date on one of those so you would have discrete changes?

Re: All Zero report: Experian only

Imagine seeing this after paying off all your credit cards and not knowing about the All Zero score drop.

New Topic: One of [FICO Sucks!], [THIS WHOLE CREDIT THING IS A SCAM], [!@#$% %$# !@#% FICO $%^&^$ !!!!], [etc.]

All good....AMEX and Discover will report statement balances of $520 and $160 (4.00% ind. util, exactly) over the next few days.

First 2 cards to report are now at $0 from $1,423 total.

2 separate reason statements on TU 8 for no recent balances!

@Anonymous that is so awesome! I had already included that in the Primer and now I have a link with a picture of it in real life!!

That proves it is tracking them separately and I wonder if the credit union card reported if you would get the national code or not. And I bet it excludes retail! That's probably why you get the "partial AZ penalty" for a retail card at AZEO, because it's only triggering one of the two, since it is still a revolver. 😉

Re: All Zero report: Experian only

So the traditional AZ penalty is actually a combination of 2 AZ penalties at TU8 and EQ8.

EX8 does not have the national/bankcard negative reason code and therefore it does not have this AZ penalty, imho.

Re: All Zero report: Experian only

EX now has the new AMEX and Discover balances of $520 and $160, respectively.

EX BC8 and EX 3 like All Zero better than 2 of 4 with a $680 aggregate balance.

As expected, I picked up +3 points on EX 8 with every card at less than 5% util after rounding (both at 4% now, had 2 at 9% last month).

From All Zero to 2 of 4 reporting a balance.

Below is a comparison to prior month with 2 cards at 9% each, 2 at $0.

$1,423 to $680 aggregate balance change, 4% to 2% aggregate util.

EX 2's are no longer showing 'No recent revolving usage', even though last month had $1,423 on 2 different cards.

EX 2's picked up some points due to dropping below $1000 in total balances. Usually around +5 that I have seen before.

(Those 2 cards are not charge or retail cards - Citi Costco Visa had $1,234 and it still showed 'No recent revolving usage' last month.)
