An account that has been inactive for 4 months.....-23 score hit.

An account (GAP) that has been inactive for 4 months.....-23 EQ score hit.  Please tell me this is a temporary hit.  Took me to 19% util since I let it report.  Guess I shouldn't have done that.  It's been paid off but of course the zero bal. hasn't reported yet.  Hope it will rebound.

Credit scores have short term memories when it comes to utilization. When that utilization comes back down your score will go back up, so don't sweat it.

More or less just treat it as a fluctuation. No need for concern if yiur know the balance it going right back down, due to lack of memory on utilization in the scoring.
