An example of FiCO score variance

No deep purpose to this post, other than to illustrate what a nasty little thing VARIANCE is.   I pulled all 3 FiCOs within the last 24 hours.  The delta between my high score and low score is ...

145 points.

I wonder what could be facilitating such a variance!

Re: An example of FiCO score variance

Was this with actual FICO scores or FAKO scores?   My Fico scores are actually less than 10 points apart as of yesterday.

At one point my scores had a huge variance but it was due to there being 2 collections on EQ, 1 collection on EX, and none on TU.

Re: An example of FiCO score variance

There has to be a difference in the three files for this kind of variance.

Smiley Very Happy  lol

OK, i was mistaken.  That LOW score was from PRIOR to a CA being removed via DV.  The variance is only 99 points now.  So I can interpolate that DV resulted in about 46 points.

The existing 99 point delta has to  primarily be a UTIL issue.  The offending CRA has not updated a significant balance that the other two have.  I will let you guess the offending CC co and CRA.

Re: An example of FiCO score variance

lol see?!

as for guessing the offending CC that's anybody's guess but I would guess that EX was the offending CRA as they usually are lol. Keep in mind I'm still a newbie!

so, am I halfway correct?

Yes, you are half correct.  (Or two thirds depending on your puzzle skills)
