Bad at all to have two credit cards at same place?
I have a chase freedom, and wanting to get a chase slate due to an awesome intro Apr and cash back, would it be bad at all that both are with chase? Like negative on my credit score or anything?

No that's fine and won't hurt your score. Some people have 5 or 6 cards with the same credit card issuer.
The Chase Slate is not a cash back card. It's really only good as a balance transfer card
