CREDIT DUE TO OVERPAYMENT---WHAT TO DO?!

Asking for my daughter....

She unintentionally overpaid two credit cards ($37 on one, $103 on another) when paying  her cards down to '0'  to  improve her score (been trying to help her with all I've learned on this forum about utilization, etc---she has 8 cards total (retail & credit)  paid off, and with only 1 reporting, she got a 40 point jump!)

Does it have any effect on score to keep these credits?  Should she just charge am'ts  to offset to '0'?

Thanks for any advices!!

Credit balances report as $0 balances on credit reports.  These won't affect her score.

EDIT: She could request refund checks from her credit card companies for the credit balances.  Usually card issuers don't like credit balances.

Thanks for the prompt reply.

I'll advise her to request the refunds.  Just wanted to make sure the credits didnt have some sort of negative impact.

I just leave them there - then my next bill will be lower!

And I've found the trick is not to stop the sliding
But to find a graceful way of staying slid

I would just use those cards to buy the next few tanks of gas.
