So I am currently rebuilding but got an update that an account was add to my experian through MYFICO. I checked, 24 point gain. Checked EX, that one, it only gained 5 points. Only change is the account being added. Why the difference? What is the more accurate one? Both are the 8 scores.

Where exactly are you checking EX? And does it show update same date as myFICO?
The 26 point gain was MYFICO 8 through here and the 5 point gain was EX 8 itself. Both last update was today.
Your EX could have included other information as well which made the jump not as significant they do report even if it pops up at the same time some things at different times than others. MyFICO will give you the most updated Score information they receive when they update from that B so it's likely that it's not the same information causing the difference in points rather EX updated a few things and the only gain on their end was the 8

Q: You say myFICO alerted you to a 24 point gain, but the Experian service only alerted to a 5 point gain... so is the descrepency only with the # of gained points claimed? In other words, do the actual Experian FICO 8 score provided by each service differ, or are they the same?

MYFICO gave a 24 point gain that put me over 600. EX site gave only a 5 point gain but is still under 600. As far as I can tell, both reports are listing the same info. If the scores equaled out to the same I would have figured it was merely catching up. But, nope. two different scores on for the same company. Only thing I can think off is MYFICO is not letting some lates/CO being listed after I filed BK to effect me.
Better than a 20pt drop and you DO know why....
joking.
congrats on the jump.
I am guessing these are Vantage/CK 'swings'
real FICO scores rarely make these large changes unless something very good or very bad happened. They more often move by 1-10 pts.
I have had 40-50 pt swings on CK due to minor changes. I just ignore them.
