Deciphering EQ score changes

SO got a couple score increases and I felt confident that it was paying down one revolver from 82% > 69% and his SLs finally reporting, so I pulled a 1B report (used up this week's ACR EQ pull already) and I was dead wrong.

EQ F8 gained +19 on 5/1 and +16 on 5/2. This is definitely a PR scorecard, as only EQ has a CA reporting. 2 COs and a handful of lates on one of the COs. This made me think it was not likely to be from his youngest revolver hitting 3 months? Unless 10y AoOA is a major AoOA threshold to cross (prior to SLs reporting) or perhaps combined 10y AoOA and 3m AoYRA/AoYA? I guess I was under the impression the age thresholds were at 6mo marks. It also was definitely not linked to the SLs because of the following negative reason codes on 5/1:

4/26 (before score increases)4/26 (before score increases)

5/1 before SLs were added5/1 before SLs were added

5/2 after SLs added5/2 after SLs added

Happy for the score increases, nonetheless, as EQ drags behind TU and EX due to the CA that the others do not carry, but at least the SLs are finally reporting now. Fingers crossed for a little bump when the revolver finally reports paid down to 69%. EX and TU got around +5 pts each.

@LaHossBoss AoYRA only applies to 8/9.

congratulations! you can see what I bolded likely caused the effects, but AoOA is a segmenter, so it didn't cause a score change, but the corresponding Metric for the oldest loan or revolver likely did.

yeah if a chargeoff has lates on it, the chargeoff overrules the lates, so you don't even have to worry about the lates.

and yes aging metrics are worth less in dirty cards, but they're still worth something. AoYA is a segmentation factor on 5/4/2 tho and I don't know if it can also independently award points as a Scoring Factor on 5/4/2. Maybe it can.

But I'm more persuaded to think it was the oldest Account, but not as that metric which is also a Segmentation factor. Is the oldest account a loan or a revolver? Age of oldest loan or age of oldest Revolver gave those points, I think on 1st. Then that and/or average age likely for the 2nd, imho.

Clean/Thick/Mature/No New Revolver - 8,9; Clean/Thick/Mature/No New Account - 5/4/2.
Correct Ag.Util. under 5% all times. (Oldest/avg varies. Estimates above.)
Real world mortgage maxes are: EQ5-818, TU4-839, EX2-844.

Re: Deciphering EQ score changes

@Birdman7 it is an installment loan for 5/1 and earlier, it was an old auto loan (about to age off since it is a derog), and 5/2 is the 3 x SLs being added on and now being the oldest accounts.

Oldest revolver is now 1y 3m (AU) and 1y 2m (primary) and youngest is 3m.

Thanks, as always!

@LaHossBoss NP, yup AoOLA for 5/1, and AoOLA & AAoA for 5/2, imho. Wait a minute... 15 months age of oldest revolver could be a culprit as well, AU accounts count full Monty on mortgage Scores.

Re: Deciphering EQ score changes

@LaHossBoss basically take all aging Metrics, convert them to months, & any of them that are evenly divisible by 3 are suspect. ( @CassieCard's Rule of 3!)
