Hi everyone! Hope y'all had a wonderful holidays!
I wanted to share with you on my Equifax FICO scorings since my TU and EX is rising slowing normally (with little minor dips). Before we begin, let me tell you a bit of my situation so you can understand. I filed for Bankruptcy Chapter 7 last March 2015 which was fully discharged in June 2015 (except for my student loan, of course).
In 2013, I obtained PLUS loan for my kid going college, current balance $9,300ish (included in BK, not discharged, current TL does NOT say IIB)
In August 2015, I obtained unsecured Merrick Visa SL $600 with AF of $72
In September 2015, I obtained unsecured Barclay Rewards MC SL $1500, no AF
In November 2015, I obtained unsecured Discover IT SL $1600, no AF

Exactly! And no way for recent BK to get that HIGH score of 700+ too, LOL

Congratulations on your progress so far on your rebuild, and you have an interesting set of score changes, to be sure.
The "ghost" reference is that it is likely that EQ is not fully registering the BK sequence. It finds the BK info, and drops the score, then it loses track of the BK in the next score, and the score goes up.

EQ does that few times a month LOL!
I know it's annoying for that for it got me wondering just now since it may not show BK on one of those crazy days, if I decided to app, say a credit card that ONLY pulls Equifax, while not showing BK, what happens then?
I think I did apply Discover IT when it was high score last month but I show Discover also pulling others so it may not be that.
