I was not able to get a reasonable answer from MyFico regarding this anomoly. I had initially subscribed so I would have the "side-by-side" reports, but that isn't as important to me as having reliable scores. I am also going to cancel. I get updates from (free) Credit Karma hours before I do from MyFico anyway.
Update: I spent $15 for a new Equifax in my account and my score immediately jumped from 697 to 731!!!
So the Equifax credit scores are not getting updated as they advertise. For sure, you must either wait for a 3-bureau report to drop on the monthly or buy Equifax again.
I have sent a report ticket to myFico and just had a phone call. They have such an interesting way of phrasing where they are implying it's not an issue because they haven't heard it. But I told them, well, I'm reporting it so now you know. :-)
Please call in to get it on their radar!
They also would not refund me the $15 to get my updated Equifax score. Seriously considering moving to Experian.
@Anonymous Congrats on your jump in points. Which subscription do you have for myfico?
@Anonymous Oh wow I thought that was the only plan that did update like it's suppose to. So is it updating only once a month?
Here is the response from myFico:
When I followed this, it looks like my score goal was set too low so it wasn't updating:
"We have received your escalation request regarding you Equifax score not updating. Upon reviewing your member center, we have located the cause for this. On your myFICO member center, on the right hand side, there are several links. The link listed as “alert settings” allows you to make adjustments to your alert settings that will impact only Equifax alerts. Included in these settings is what is called a “Target Score”. When your Equifax score reaches whatever is listed in their alert settings as your target score, the score on the dashboard new alerts that would trigger updates do not come until that target score is adjusted. Note the verbiage near this Target Score, "we recommend a target score 10-15 points high than current score". Once this is adjusted you will start getting regular Equifax score updates again.
If you have any additional questions, please call 1-800-319-4433 (Monday-Friday 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM, Saturday 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM Pacific Time) and we will be happy to assist you."
@Anonymous They told me that also and I changed it and still have no score updates. Signed up for MyFico 8/13 and my score is the same.

Count me as another person who they told this lie to last year. I updated my goal to 850 and still, the only way I can get an updated EQ score is to purchase a separate EQ report or wait until the 3B drops every quarter.
As a side note -- I had the Experian service for awhile where they give you all 3 scores once a month and EQ ALWAYS changed over there so it isn't an EQ issue -- it is a myFico issue. I feel like we should ald get a 1/3 price reduction since we are not getting updated scores for 1/3rd of the bureaus for which we are paying.
@designated_knitter I get the 7 day free trial on Experian to see my updated Equifax scores. I gave up with Myfico and just wait for my monthly updates.
I've had several increases to Experian and Transunion, but not Equifax. I paid for an update and still nothing. My scores jumped 100 points on the other two. I have good credit on Experian and Transunion and fair on Equifax. My utilization is the lowest with them 9%. This sucks 😞
