Tried the same dispute with EQ and they added a fresh 120 day late dated 08/2019! That certainly was a backfire!

Not only that, but the "Date Closed" is missing as well!

Why did they add the 120 late?

According to the EQ rep, once the creditor validated the information, they put the "last status" (120 days late) as the most recent status in the 08/2019 payment history.  Doesn't seem legit, so I'll probably have to call back.

NO!  Are you kidding?  What do you make of that?  Was it to the same mortgage account?  I assume you will be fighting that?

So sorry...   Smiley Sad

I'll be getting my free EQ04, EQ09 and buying EQ08 from Experian all here within a week.  Going to wait and see if there was a significant change in score.  EQ did say my my account can be deleted in Dec. 2021, so, I'll have to weigh the options of fighting it or not.

So EQ09 went up 2 points, EQ08 stayed the same as last month, but EQ04 dropped 20 points.  I never did call EQ back and was just going to accept a 2-year drop off period when I logged into CreditKarma earlier - EQ DELETED the foreclosure!!!   I just had to buy some new scores!

Congratulations, Jager!!   You have had a GREAT recovery!!!!   Doesn't it feel great!

It will be interesting to see what points you get when your auto loan goes down some.  When my auto loan went below 10% (paid down a couple of years in advance), my auto-enhanced scores went to about 898 to 900.

You have had a great recovery!!!   I remember when you and I started this journey together!  We need to go our for a cold one!

I was just going back through your amazing story and recovery again.  You really have recovered nicely and it is so great that you now have the foreclosure off of EQ and TU!  Smiley Happy

When do you hope to have it gone from EXP?

I'll either try to get it removed or I'll just wait out the next 2 years.  I'm not too worried as if I need credit, I'll just keep EX frozen and pull from one of the other two.  Plus, mortgage is now ready since they use the middle score Smiley Happy

Re: From 800+ to Foreclosure - How Negatives Affect Your Score

Jager,

Thanks for the update!  I have thoroughly enjoyed following your journey, especially since we share very similar stories, going from high scores, to the toilet, and back up again!  Looks like you have had an amazing recovery as well.  Congratulations!

Your earlier comment is spot-on.  No matter when the baddie falls from Experian, your middle mortgage score is beautiful!

Thanks for keeping up with the updates over these years!
