Got a score bump of 5 points for no apparent reason

I'm not complaining, but I got a SW score alert indicating that my score went up by 5 points.   Absolutely, nothing has happened.  Util is the same, no new accounts, etc.

Go figrue.

I would guess something aged. Youngest account? Inq? May not have been something obvious.

Hmm.  My car loan hit it's 4 month mark.   I thought 6 months was when the aged benefit would trigger.

My AAoA is 12 years and I don't think an additional month uptick is gonna matter.  Plus, I opened a Walmart discover recently, if anything AAoA would be lower.  Perhaps the Walmart account did have some kind of positive impact.  It is curious that I did not get a score change when it appeared.

This is likely it. The new impact of the new credit is slowly wearing off. IME, I used to see small, monthly increases as a new TL ages. After 6 months the gains mostly stop, but I'll sometimes see an additional bump at a year.
