I would ask the loan officer which address is being ued to access your credit report. I would have lender pull the credit report with the current and previous address. ( if its not being done already) Here is the issue form the bureau standpoint they have a G H at address 1 SSN 1 with creditor(s) reporting credit data. They also eave a G H at address 2 ( your current address) and SSN1 with unknown creditor(s) reporting. You can make case well the SSN and the name are the same its the same person. Yes it might be. You can also make a case it not the same person such a father and son with the same name but the SSN is being misreported at one of the addresses. There is also a couple fraud cases as well. When you apply for credit in the next 2 years make sure the lender uses both addresses. This will give the time fr the creditors to report to the new address. The inquiry with both addresses will help the bureau(s) put the two files together. Hope this helps.
