Hi Everyone!
I hope someone can shed some light an observation. I currently subscribe to Score Watch and I notice that everytime my score decreases, it appears as if Capital One is reporting it twice. This is a current account in which I pay the balance. I notice when my credit card utilization is above a certain threshold my score decreases. I'm not sure if this is a MyFico error or a Capital One error. On the Score Watch history page, I can select a specific date and view the score and the alert. In the section that says "Changes to your credit report" it states "2 of your accounts reported balance increases" and it lists Capital One twice. The last 4 digits of both accounts are the same as well as the balances. Is this common to see an account listed twice? Does this appear to be a Capital One issue or an Equifax issue (I'm inclined to say the former)? And my last question is, how do I correct the double reporting...what steps do I need to take?

It's a settings issue. You don't have two of the same CapOne accounts and the extra alert isn't hurting your score. If you go into the Settings, you'll see the option for alerts on balance increases. You'll see the option for one alert based on balance increases of $x. You'll also see an option for an alert based on an increase of x%. By default, both alerts are set on yes. So, if you have a CC increase by both $x and x%, then you'll see two alerts. If the alerts are annoying, you can turn one off by setting it to "N" for no.
