How much does opening a new credit card impact score?

Hello Everyone,

Hope you're all doing well

I am considering applying for a new credit card here in the next few days due to rumors of the sign up offer ending - its possibly the best sign up offer out there right now some of you might know which card Im talking about -

I was wondering roughly how much that will decrease my scores.

Context:

Scores 740 TU / 760s EX and EQ

Clean Thick Mature scorecard with a new revolver opened 5 months ago.

AAOA 3 years 5 months

AoOA 5 years 5 months

1 inquiry on EX( very likely the CRA of choice for the card issuer )

Revolving Utilization at 1% with AZEO

Any insight and information is appreciated.

No one can really say how many points,, but you will lose points from inquiries (bank you seem to be talking about often double pulls), resetting age of newest account, and lowering average age of accounts. I would imagine your FICO 8's will lose 10 or 15 points and regain them over time.

Total revolving limits 748700 (628200 reporting) FICO 8: EQ 701 TU 717 EX 682

Boy...opening a  new account really tears into you almost makes you not want to.

You get hit all over the place..Inquiries-New account penalties-Lost of Credit Age etc.
