Is there a score penalty for address change?

Is there any score penalty for address change. I have been in New England for last 35+ years and looking to move to a warm place in the south. Will there be a FICO score penalty when moving to a new address?

No

Address is not a scoring factor in FICO scores.

I have moved 7 times in the last 10 years and never has it affected my scores.

@Red1Blue, there isn't a scoring penalty for changing addresses. But keep in mind that address change requests will prompt lenders to report to the bureaus. People frequently see decreases at that point because their balances are higher than they were previously. The moral of the story is to have your balances where you'd like them before calling in the change.
