When I first signed up with MyFico in September my fico score was 702. After reading all the posts and help from Tuscany's posts I am now knocking on 800. My score is 796! How did I do it, my first mistake was to think that no debt is good, duh, wrong. I had a zero balance and a score of 702. So I charged a little bit and my score keep jumping, then I got some lates off my report and "Bam" more points.I guess you do need a little debt to have a high score. I am really careful about having my report run for any kind of cc. I am now looking into buying a used car. 800 would be nice, but at my score, I can enjoy the same privileges as a 800er.
