Was the baddie reported the same across all 3 bureaus? I heard improper reporting can hurt. Because the inconsistencies make your identity questionable and therefore a higher risk.
It was reported the same, and accurately, across all 3.

Yes, and there's those of the opinion that "after 4 years it no longer counts..." Lol
But, many congrats to you, Jamaica! My 800+ date is not until 2020 when my last baddie Falls off.
Congrats again!
Heh well I know that ain't the case for PR's and collections, which are certainly counted similarly and maybe identically.
Anyway congrats SJ on getting clean! My own fiesta isn't till 12/2017 unless TU is kind and drops my tax lien early. At least I can then test if a 2+ year old 30 day late doesn't impact scores ![]()

Nice! I can't wait until 3/2017 when my lone remaining baddie falls to the side and I should joing the 800 club then.

Yeah well I ain't celebrating. FICO & the banking world make me nervous. Poor folk like me, in this society, are always vulnerable. Never know when I might get into some new trouble.
Also my 809 in TU is going to drop any day now when my auto loan finally gets picked up by TU.
But I sure am glad for what I've learned from you about how to navigate these shoals. Once I'm in a particular "bucket", at least I can swim around on top of the bucket, instead of drowning at the bottom ![]()

Big congratulations on the score improvement!
I totally feel you. My last baddie fell off (7year old Charge off) my EQ and it went from 706 to 809. It's amazing how much one negative can hold your score down.

Thanks NRB ![]()

Grin well your bucket at least tops out above 800, mine at least on Beacon 5.0 appears to top out at 700 as that's precisely where I'm going to be come September this year and it wouldn't surprise me (since I've stuck there for the last 2 years) if that continues till my tax lien gets airstruck.

Well thanks for the skills you've taught me, enabling me at least for a while to play in the reindeer games.
