Thanks, Guiness... useful info. Shame there's no way to buy the score the lender actually uses. I guess we'll wait and see what the OP lists as his baddies.

This just happened to us too with Experian FICO. Here we pulled a 691 and the credit union pulled a 635. We have no baddies, just high utilization on exisiting credit cards and a new mortgage. It's so far off, what's the point of buying it?

Do you know what version the CU used? Even for an EX08 there is the bankcard enchanced score which weights CC TL more heavily. And your utilization.
It depends on what's used. I know that more lenders are starting to use the EX08 version, but many mortgage lenders are still using the EX v2. And different banks, CUs, etc. might pull other versions.
