We are planning to buy a car so my wife and I pulled our 1B reports from MyFICO yesterday. We subscribe to the MyFICO 1B credit monitoring system here. My scores are fine and pretty much what I expected.
My wife's EQ score on MyFICO which I closely monitor here have been steadily rising, with score changes occasionally happening when she would get an alert. Her EQ score on the MyFICO 1B monitoring was 843 when I pulled the 1B report yesterday. The report's score said that her EQ score was only 806! There isn't any bad or new information in the report to see why her score should have dropped by 37 points.
Today, when I logged into her MyFICO account the updated EQ report score in the "circle" shows 806. The MyFICO Alerts score that is directly underneath it says her score is 843. What gives? Why the difference?
Here's a screenshot of what I'm talking about:
@jamie123
I see three possibilities for that....either something did post between the 2 pulls that day that indeed dropped the score by 37 points, or all the scores showing with the alert is in error, which is unlikely, or the 806 score is errant. This is assuming the 843 score in the alert is in fact a Fico 08 score. I suppose it is possible that the score shown in the alert is a Fico 09 score. I imagine that at some point Fico 09 might be reported there, but you should be able to click on the view other scores to see if that is the case.

There is no single EQ FICO score. There are 8 or 9 different EQ FICO scores.
But as I look at your dashboard screenshot, I see that the score in the circle and the score in the alert are both FICO 8. So I'm guessing there's just some glitch, which will clear itself up in a day or two. You wouldn't have a 35-point drop without something major happening.
I think I found the problem. We just came back from vacation so one of her cards reported a bigger balance. She went from 6% total UTI to 10% total UTI.
Could that be the reason?
Could be, but crossing the 8.9% threshold on aggregate utilization is usually good for around a 15-20 point change, not 37 points.
You could pay down your balance(s) and request an off-cycle reporting with that/those lenders. If your balance(s) return your aggregate utilization to the previous state and your score increases 37 points that would verify that the balance change was the reason for the initial drop.

Nope. But maybe there was very high utilization reported on one card.
It happened to me the other day on my 3B pull that there was 2 8's for TU. Score went up 6 but only reflected in the alert section but didnt update the dashboard. That was 3 days ago. I logged in this am. And it was fixed with the date correctly. MyFICO hiccup
