Oldest account hits 3 yrs scores drops up to 22 points

Me and DW both hit 3 years for oldest account age and had significant score drops. I had one drop 20 and DW had one drop 15 and two drop 22 points. I checked hers and mine less than 2 weeks ago and no balances or inquiries have changed since then. I don't see any other changes. Any thoughts on this? Rebucket at 3 years?

Do you at least have one card report with a balance? If not that could be the reason?

Where are you getting the scores from?

Are they true Fico scores? Or Fako scores from Credit Karma etc... ?

Op, something else has to be off. An account growing in age would not be a reason for a score drop of 22 points. If anything, assuming literally nothing else changed with the profile, it would have positive impact.

I haven't seen anything on either mine or hers. It happened to both of us. Nothing showing on CCT or Discover's Experian scorecard or Experian's website or Wallethub or Credit Karma etc...I check our credit continuously.

Since it happened to both of you, the first thing I would scrutinize are joint accounts.

Credit cards, loans etc... something has changed.

I wouldn't be using alerts to figure this out. Pull your reports from: https://www.annualcreditreport.com/index.action
