Hi,
When does the credit bureau update the score after items are removed?
I recently paid off (In Full) some collection accounts, a First Premier Chargeoff and had and old charge off removed. My collections have been removed and I am waiting for a BBB dispute on First Premier as they re-aged the account when I paid in full. Hoping that is deleted this week. When will I see my scores update? All I have seen so far was a 3 point increase after the old auto loan was removed, but I am not sure if that is because of an inquiry that was removed or what.
In the past 24 hours, I had the following deleted from my reports. No increase yet.
1) IC Systems Collection - Sprint $179 (added to Report 1/2020).
2) Payliance - USPS $83 (added to report 10/2019)
3) Payliance - USPS $83 (added to Report 10/2019)
4) A-L Financial - Charged Off Auto Loan from Ch. 7, Bankruptcy 6/2014.
5) 2 year old inquiry removed. Score alert.
All I have remaining is:
3.5 Year Auto Loan - Perfect Payment History
8 Month Cap One VISA - Perfect Payment History
1) Midland Collection - Credit One (added 2/2020)
1) IC Systems - Banfield (6 years on Report)
1) IC Systems - Banfield (5 years on Report)
1) Credit One Charge Off (2017)
1) First Premier Charge Off (2017)
I discharged Ch. 7 BK (2015)

Thank you!
so misconception #1 the credit bureaus don't update your scores, ever; they only update your reports. Your score is generated from the information on your reports at that moment.
Now if you are actually asking when your CMS will update your scores, well that depends on what service you use
There's a possibility you may not see an increase as long as you have collections present. I didn't receive any as I paid mine off until the last one. Currently, I have about a 20 point difference between my report that doesn't have any collections versus the ones that are still showing collections.

Wow! I never knew that. Thank you. In this instance my CSM is Experian.
