Equifax and Experian seem to be neck and neck when it comes to my score, which is great...but for some reason, Transunion does not budge....why is that??

Re: Why is Transunion such a drag???

I just asked the same question, but for me it's Experian that's the drag.  Weird.  I'm hoping someone can enlighten both of us as to how/why this happens.

Re: Why is Transunion such a drag???

I would think that because they have different scoring models, one is always going to be lower than the others. No one know the exact model, but some bureaus may favor more accounts, another bureau may like less accounts. Some bureaus may want to see a long history of stable accounts, another bureau may not care. Also, some reports will have more inquiries than others. For me, it seems like I never get inquiries on Transunion, but I do on the other 2
