credit card cancellation

I have a crappy Milestone credit buider card that I got in 9/1/19. The CL is $300 and I have since boosted my score with the helpof this great community and have several excellent cards. A $300 drop in my overall CL will have no impact on my CU especially since I always pay off my full balances - I never carry a balance.

I'm wondering if dropping this card along with its annual fee of $39 will drop my score.

i would drop it in Oct 2020  - so that is 1 year old - that is just my opinion

i dont like paying an AF either, but sometimes it is worth the $39 - at least it isnt $95 +

but you could just close it now, and likely it wont have a negative impact

Drop it.  No reason to wait. It will not affect your score.
