re: outstanding balances

For scoring purposes, which is better; pay off the whole balance of the credit card monthly, or leave  a balance of five to ten dollars?  thanks for the info.

Re: re: outstanding balances

Ideally, you want one-half to all but one to report $0 with the remaining reporting under 9% with at least $1 showing. Some have experienced a ding with $0 balances on all CCs.

Keep in mind that there is a difference between letting a balance report and carrying a balance. Letting a small balance report then paying in full means you are not charged any interest!
