Ok, I have not received an alert since march 17th. I know my score has changed since then. I did receive a message saying there were no alerts for the month. Is this normal? Some things should have changed on my credit report by now.
Yes, it's normal for your score not to change in over a month if there were no significant changes to your credit report. Are there some specific changes you're aware of that should have changed your score?
If you want to check to be sure, we've added a free report to your Score Watch subscription so you can check it and report back here on your findings. Let us know what you come up with!
To back up this statement, I just pulled DW's TU report history. On March 31 of last year, her TU FICO was 665. One year later, her score only increased by 2 points to 667. Even while pulling her TU FICO reports every 2-3 times per month, her score never fluctuated beyond a range of 661-671. Nothing was happening. I was almost hoping for a baddie just to have a change of scenery.

I have not received a score watch alert in over a month nor have I received the "all clear" type of notification either. I purchased a power score report and my score had increased by about 5 points although nothing changed on my report. I know not all increases cause an alert but should a normal increase (or decrease) produce one? My settings are set at my current FICO score, I know enough to set it at the same reporting score each time. Plus I know a CA has deleted a CO off plus I've paid off a CC all within the last month.
Hi Tracy5544....It looks like an alert was sent to you on 4/17 indicating that your score had exceeded your target score. If you didn't get it, you may want to check your spam filter or make sure myFICO has your current email address. You appear to be doing the right thing, tho, by setting your target score to your current one each time it changes.
As for the CA being deleted and paying off a credit card, don't expect an alert from the CA going away, as you're not alerted to something leaving your report. If paying off the card changes your score you should expect to be alerted to that change.
And since you appear to have been buying additional EQ reports recently, we've added a freebie to your Score Watch subscription. Hope you start getting more alerts...for the right reasons.
Hi Barry
Thank you for the power score! I have checked my spam folder and still haven't seen anything. It is probably just as you said, the CB hasn't updated about the card yet.
But thanks again!
