Paying for fico score reports before my update

I have the preiemum version of the myFico memebership and pay $39.95 per months as I am on my journey to get my credit straightened out. I want to know if I buy a 3B report before my update date if there would be a difference in terms of what information is on my monthy 3B report. Currently my monthly 3B update is on the 17th of each month. I see that there is an option to get my report earlier if I pay $47.88. Is there a difference if I wait or if I opt to pay and get it earlier? I plan to wait but I want to know just incase I need to get the report faster in the future.

Any changes to your credit report that happened after your last 3B update will appear on your new one. All of your score models will update as well, based on the new information. Your FICO8's update in real time, but everything else updates with each new pull, assuming there is new information on your report.

Re: Paying for fico score reports before my update

Hi @MissLiz thank you for reponding to my inquiry. When you say fico scores update in real time you are refering to the general scores correct? As for the Mortgage, Auto and Credit scores those are once per month with the product that I have,  which I pay $39.95 per month for my 3B reports correct?

Yes! "General scores" are your FICO8's.

Re: Paying for fico score reports before my update

If you're simply looking at what new info might have been reported, why not just pull your reports from annual credit report. While it won't give you scores, you can see what up to date information has been reported on all three bureaus before you throw $50 away to see new scores. It's free once every seven days.

@JoeRockhead Thank you for your insight! I forgot that the annual credit reports are now available to be pulled every 7 days now.
