Why am I getting charged $1.00 every time I update payment info?

I just decided to switch payment info and was charget $1 for adding a car. I then noticed it still had my old card as default, so I hit update again and I got charged another dollar. What is this? And why won't it let you change your payment method online? This is kind of dumb.

If you are asking about MyFico charges, I'd suggest you contact support using the link on the top of this page. Not sure anyone on the "forums" is in a position to give you an answer.

The "charge" is an authorization hold that eventually falls off.  Think of it as a confirmation that the card information is valid.
