Is there a way you can rent to yourself so you can pay your mortgage with this card?
I have a WF home mortgage.
Do the terms of the mortgage require the property to be owner-occupied?
To follow up, apparently not only am I getting at least 10x first 5 days but at least 2x first 30 days (excluding rent though, dang it).
So that in lieu of a SUB is all right by me for a no AF card.
It looks like they occasionally run promotions as well...

Does anyone know of this card is subject to the following rule as it looks like the language has been removed from BILT's Terms and Conditions:
You may not qualify for an Wells Fargo credit card if you have opened a Wells Fargo credit card in the last 6 months.

I'm pretty sure that stipulation still applies to the BILT card, @Darinox. The BILT "Terms and Conditions" apply to the rewards program and assumes you already have the card. The possible restrictions on card approval and/or eligibility for any SUBs is more of a lender policy that is separate from those T&C. If you look at the Wells Fargo Credit Cards overview page at the bottom fine print (see link), it discloses (for all cards) that:
Just wandering around and discovered BILT cards, and their options for sending a check for rent payment / making rent payments (getting return percentage of this).
Anyone have any experience with this? Pros? Cons?
Also.. is the card hard to get? Any perspective on scores needed?
*edit..... Looks like... my post was merged with another thread???
I'm not sure....... I'm not sure. It's a mashup.
To those who responded, thank you (!). Still learning about this and deciding if..it's worth it on the Rent front.

A bit off-topic as I don't have the card or much info about it, but an easy alternative to this, without having to apply for new credit, is the virtually fee-free Discover Cashback Debit checking account. You get a 1% cashback on up to $3,000 a month on debit card transactions, including online.

Yes, but why would you use a debit card over a credit card when a CC offers you more protections/benefits and also in case of fraud, it won't jeopardize your own money. Plus most CCs already offer 1% cashback at a minimum.

I was just approved for this card today & I had a lengthy discussion with a WF Bilt customer service representative...
In order to send checks in the mail they will actually draw the money the very same day from a checking account. So as soon as the rent payment posts to your account it will be paid down to zero from your linked checking. You are required to turn-on Autopay to send a monthly rent check.
EDIT* I'm not sure if the same process is required if plan to pay your rent digitally without Bilt mailing a check. You must connect Plaid for this option I am almost sure.
ALSO another important bit of inforomation is you MUST make 5 transactions a month to receive ANY Rewards points for that given month...
Paying rent through Bilt MC will earn you 1x Bilt Rewards points; travel purchases will earn you 2x & dining gets 3x....
Oh also the first 30 days after approval you will earn 2x on nonrent purchases, excluding other categories earning 2x or greater
Bilt is now offering 1.25 cents cash out value on their branded Expedia portal (and 2x if you use their card to buy there). Minimum cash out is 10,000 points.

The 1x using another card is interesting since I would imagine Expedia codes as travel... so it might be 1x Bilt AND 3x AMEX MR on a Green?
They seem to be regularly adding value to the card, anyway...
