Confused about Experian $1 trial

The last post in this old thread - is this necessary to get a $1 trial to get daily Experian score refreshes? Every day on the Experian app it shows a new reports daily but my recent Amazon payment hasn't updated yet and the statement cut on the 3rd of Jan.

Re: Confused about Experian $1 trial

Hello, @IcyCool7227

I have some solution it can helps you.

The $1 trial for Experian typically gives you access to the Experian credit report and score along with daily updates for a limited period. The trial is often used to give you a sense of the service before committing to a full membership. As for your Amazon payment not reflecting yet on your Experian report, credit reporting agencies don't always update reports in real-time. Even if a payment was made on the 3rd of January, it may not show up immediately due to the agency's update cycles.

Generally, reports on apps like Experian refresh daily, but they may not include recent transactions or payments right away. If the payment is recent, you might see it on the next update, depending on when Experian refreshes its data.

If you're looking to get your daily score refreshes, activating the $1 trial might help for more frequent updates, but keep in mind that the cycle of updates for payments and balances can still take a few days, especially for new transactions.

If you are using the trial, make sure you check when the next update is due to see the Amazon payment reflected. Additionally, make sure to keep an eye on your credit card reports as each may update on different days based on the creditor’s reporting schedule.

Best Regards

Re: Confused about Experian $1 trial

Not familiar with the $1 trial, but I have a free Experian membership that provides refreshed data monthly (and the EX FICO 8 score, and the specialized auto, credit card and mortgage scores).

The full EX $29.99 membership provides EQ and TU FICO 8 scores (but not the auto, card or mortgage scores).  You can check it out with the free trial.

The free MY FICO membership gives me EQ FICO 8 monthly, and BoA offers TU.

2023 Goal: save 3 months' net income

Starting FICO8: 666 (give or take a FICO)

Re: Confused about Experian $1 trial

Experian is having issues on the website something changed, were consumers can not downgrade the memebership from a 7 day free trial. Ive had to call in the last 2 times I upgrade to downgrade before the trial ends. This time I had fake a dispute and it stated if I waned to downgrade to the free membership to remove this billing issue

Re: Confused about Experian $1 trial

I've heard a lot of people say the unsubscribe button is broken recently.

I suppose they figure that with DOGE saying that we should "Delete CFPB" and the unlikely nature that the FTC will be enforcing the one click cancel button, they might as well keep billing your credit card and acting like there's some sort of server error preventing you from stopping them.
